There’s no shortage of midsize SUVs these days, which can sometimes make it difficult for any particular model to stand out in the crowd—that is, of course, unless you’re talking about something like the stylish and sophisticated Nissan Rogue, one of the most impressive vehicles you’ll find at your favorite Nissan dealer near LaFollette. And yet, Nissan isn’t content to rest on their laurels when it comes to the Rogue, which is easy to see when you start checking out the impressive features of the first-ever Nissan Rogue Rock Creek.

The Rock Creek trim had already proven quite popular for the Nissan Pathfinder, so we’re incredibly excited to see what it brings to the Rogue. We’ve had a couple of good looks at this new Rogue trim, and we thought it would be fun to go over some of the things we’re most anticipating when it hits the road a little later this year.

A Rugged Exterior

Although there is quite a bit that stands out about the Nissan Rogue Rock Creek, we think what you’ll notice first, and what is going to get a lot of attention, is the exterior. For starters, the Rogue already looks fantastic; this is a midsize SUV with a bold and rugged aesthetic that beautifully showcases the artistry of Nissan’s designers. They have an eye for intricate details and sweeping lines that pull your eyes across the surface of their vehicles, and the Rogue shows this off beautifully. That said, the Rock Creek is going to turn even more heads as you’re driving around LaFollette due to a number of distinct features.

For starters, you have a bold front fascia that immediately grabs the eye and demonstrates the kind of power and capability this SUV offers. The exclusive gloss black grille features three silver accent pieces above the Nissan logo, with more black details that exude confidence and strength. You’ll find gloss black Rock Creek badging all across the exterior of this SUV, beautifully set off by Lave Red accents. This includes a red Nissan logo up front, red details on the wheels, and more stylish touches that create a strong overall impression you have to see for yourself to fully appreciate.

As beautiful as the exterior is, it’s not just all about looks; there is plenty of functionality to go along with it and make the Rock Creek trim stand out even more. You’ve got a tubular roof rack—in black, of course—that’s highly functional and perfect for bringing everything you need along with you. One of our favorite highlights is the 17-inch dark-painted aluminum-alloy wheels, particularly since they’re wrapped in remarkable Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires. These are perfect for keeping you in control on dirt roads around LaFollette, heading to your favorite campsite, or taking your Nissan Rogue Rock Creek off-road.

A Gorgeous Interior

While the outside of the Nissan Rogue Rock Creek looks undeniably stunning, once you sit inside this beauty, your appreciation of what it offers will go to another level entirely. The interior is remarkably spacious—more than you’d likely expect from a midsize SUV—and is well-appointed for comfort and convenience alike. Much of this is common among all Rogue trims, with comfortable seating, well-designed amenities, and much more. The leatherette seating inside the Rock Creek not only looks and feels great, but it’s water repellent, too, so it’s easy to clean even when you spend a lot of time away from civilization.

The interior of the Rock Creek trim matches many of the exterior details and touches, creating a comprehensive look inside and out for you to enjoy. Black seating looks great, which is beautifully contrasted by Lava Red stitching and Rock Creek logos that remind you and your passengers that you’re in something special. In front of you, while driving, you’ll find piano black details and trim on the dashboard—again, beautifully echoing the gloss black exterior details. You might not get a lot of use from the heated front seats when driving around LaFollette, but they’re great if you like to take camping trips up in the mountains. Plus, a 12-volt outlet in the cargo area adds an extra touch of functionality to let you power various devices or other electronics.

Impressive Off-Road Tech

If you’re looking for a hardcore off-road machine, then this trim might not be up to the task, but it’s a fantastic choice for light off-roading and handling dirt and gravel roads. With Nissan’s available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system, the Rogue—and the Rock Creek trim, in particular—is a great choice for rough terrain where you need extra traction. The Rock Creek goes even further with extra features like Hill Descent Control, which is perfect for keeping you in control on hilly terrain. This system helps you maintain a set speed while going downhill so you can focus on steering and maneuvering rather than constantly adjusting your brakes.

A favorite feature that we have to mention for the 2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek is the enhanced HD Intelligent Around View Monitor that it comes with. This has been improved to include an Off-Road Mode that’s perfect for hitting the trail or navigating through rough areas of dirt and gravel roads. The enhanced Off-Road Mode lets you use a comprehensive camera system at speeds up to 12 mph to get a clear view of the area around your vehicle, including rocks or other obstacles you might not be able to see. This might seem like a small addition to everything the Rogue offers, but the difference it can make in protecting you and your vehicle is significant.

Updated Features

We can’t talk about the great features of the Rock Creek and not mention that it benefits from the fact that Nissan just launched a new Rogue trim for 2024. This includes things like a standard eight-inch infotainment display that looks fantastic, a beautifully designed interior with comfort features throughout, and much more. With more than 36 cu.ft. of cargo capacity behind the rear seats, you have plenty of space for shopping bags while running errands around LaFollette or to bring camping supplies and everything else you need along with you when you hit the road. All of this comes together to create a midsize SUV that’s rewarding to drive, and the Rock Creek’s enhancements take it all even further.

As you can see, the Nissan Rogue is a terrific SUV, and the upgrades of the Rock Creek trim make it an amazing choice for light off-roading, going camping, and much more.
